01 — Installation

02 — Repair

Garage Door Repair & Service

Most doors don't fail all at once — a roller wears, a cable frays, a sensor drifts out of alignment, and the door starts sticking or slamming. We diagnose the actual cause, not just the symptom, and fix what's needed.

03 — Springs

Spring Installation & Replacement

Springs do the actual lifting — a garage door can weigh well over a hundred pounds, and the spring is what makes it liftable by hand or by opener. A broken spring is the most common reason a door won't open at all, and it's also the least safe part to repair yourself: torsion springs are wound under very high tension.

Inspect & measure

We check both springs, the cables, drums and center bearing — a spring rarely fails alone, so we look at the whole lift system.

Match spring to door

Wire size, coil diameter and length are matched to your door's weight and daily cycle count, not a one-size-fits-all part.

Replace in pairs

When one torsion spring goes, we recommend replacing both — they wear on the same schedule, and mismatched springs strain the opener.

Balance & test

The door is rebalanced and cycle-tested before we call the job done, so the opener isn't working harder than it should.

A note on safety

If a spring has broken and the door is stuck open or shut, don't force it and don't attempt to unwind or adjust the spring yourself. Keep the area clear, keep the opener switched off, and call us — after-hours emergency appointments are available for doors that can't safely wait.

Maintenance & Service Calls

A garage door is the biggest moving object in most homes, and it's opened more times a year than any other entry point. A yearly check catches worn parts while they're a scheduled visit, not a Saturday-morning emergency.

Annual tune-up

Spring, cable, roller and track inspection, hardware tightening, and lubrication.

Balance & safety check

Auto-reverse and photo-eye sensor testing, so the door stops the way it's supposed to.
